Yerba Mate
A hot infusion made from the leaves of a South American holly generically called yerba, grass. Because it is sipped from a gourd called mate, it is also known as yerba mate. At Zafra we follow Uruguayan yerba mate etiquette, and brew the infusion in a gourd to be sipped from a silver straw called bombilla.
